Which motor needs MORE GAS?
Wednesday, February 23, 2005 4:29 PM
Ok guys, well as you know I am doing my Turbo set up, the only question I had is?
On the fuel feed/return, on of the lines is thicker and one is thiner.
Which one is feed bigger or the smaller one, it makes sense the bigger one but I might be wrong, so on the part of the fuel lines where you need the Quick disconnect tool where the rubber fuel line becomes a hard line and runs to the back you can see that one of the lines is bigger and one smaller, which one is which one??

Also, I had a 2.4L 10.5:1 and .040 over.
Now I have a stock Eco.

Which motor needs more gas per pound? I am thinking the 2.4L, but amount of the air the Turbo pushes will be the same through the both motors no??

On the 2.4L I was able to run 5-6 PSI on the stock injectors and 12:1 FMU disk, I am wondering will I be able to run 7-8 PSI on the Eco with the stock injectors and 12:1 disk.
I don't have the 5 PSI spring anymore.

"""i was told that I am able to do it, but this source is questionable"""
What cc are Eco stock injectors 2002 if it matters??

I have some pic of my Turbo set up I will post them later, thanks.

Its pretty easy to figure out what the return line. The return line is the one that comes out the bottom of the FPR.

Not sure what size the eco injectors are.

Ok I guess it is the same where they disconnect on the 98 Cavi.

Shifted, what do you think about the 7-8 psi on stock injectors, a no no?? I think.

Depending on the size of the turbo, I would venture to say no. It would be "ok" for a smaller T3 or something similar, but I think you have a pretty decent sized turbo and I would think that you would be really pushing it on stock injectors.

$300 in injectors... or ANOTHER motor swap, lol, I know you like motor swaps, but even the god of swaps has to have a limit
