low? i don't think so, with those numbers traction is already an issue, 248 ft. lbs. of torque is a very nice number.

At 10 psi i'm not impressed at all. I made more hp at 8 psi on an ohv. I'd say needs lots of tuning yet. but a good start.

Looks like a good start, and with more tuning im sure you can find more power.

wait a sec here. the ohv engine reacts ass backwards when it come to boost verses the ecotec or LD9. 2 totally different motors. dont ever compare your pushrods to the ECO again.

hey twisted, congrats!! nice torque numbers. My kit should be complete within the week.
serious fitment issues everywhere. I can't get the o2sensor in the new downpipe now. the black cylinder on firewall is creating this prob. I am about ready to throw this car away.

me in love with supras lol ok then

anyways how do the ohv act totaly different compared to the ecotec?>I'm just comparing your numbers to OHV's with the same amount of boost, I guess thats y im not impressed with those numbers. once again not tryn to be hostile

Yeah stupid me for comparing a way less advanced motor to the all precious ecotec. Now, don't get me wrong. I love the ecotec motor a ton more than the ohv. It is by far the superiour motor. Thus the reason i am not impressed.

Congrats, I know the uphill battle you had to get where you are... you definitely should see more HP than that, though. It might be the turbo.

There was a gentleman who made 244 hp at 5000 RPM on a T04B about 3-4 weeks ago... so you KNOW those #'s feel a bit low...

I say more tuning is in order - what are the specs on your turbo?

Either way, enjoy all the new found power. Must be a blast.

nice #'s, glad u got everything worked out.

Re: Dyno Results

Are they low #'s for that amount of boost.... Yes.

I start to go rich after 4700 and start to loose power. We tuned the EIC the best we could. The EIC is not the greatest way to manage your fuel, but it's easy and does an ok job. I am only looking to run between 210-215hp for now.

Could I hit those numbers with lower boost and better fuel management?... ABSOLUTELY.

I am working on a new fuel setup at the moment so I can get more power with lower boost. So those who were disappointed in my numbers, sorry... I should have made it clear when I originally posted.

Thanks guys for the compliments, this project will never be "done". it will never end, cuz if it did this wouldnt be fun anymore. So hang in there, I will get some better looking numbers, it just takes time and more tuning, most of you know this already because you've done it and gone through the same things! You just dont slap on a turbo, goto the dyno and your done... what can I say, it just doesnt work that way. For those that have been watching the progress I've made, thanks for the support.

Twisted, Since you are going rich maybe we need to go with smaller injectors. I know Haas uses the 36lb yellow tops, I'm using the 42lb. lime green tops.

If you are rich, I imagine I will be even worse. Unless me using a t3/t4 will be better suited. I'll see what the smallest size injector SDS says we can run, maybe that'll be some help.

Nice Numbers anyway, I'd be very happy.
Great Job!

What % injector gain do you find yourself using @10psi, with the yellow tops?
