well i doubt we are the fools lol, your such a lier dude there was to a retard applied to your engine..... and that in fact is what messed it up.... yup just to much retard and the engine just couldn't take it no more and decided to throw a ring at your head to make you stop but ended up killing it self instead..., maybe you should learn from this... if your engine likes to commit suicided maybe you should step back and think why and stop being retarded and instead applying retard to your engines timing

so do you have a VW if not i don't know how you suppose to fit that head on your engine because it isn't gonna happen lol

i just wanna know what did you really think was gonna happen with your setup and that much boost lol, im surprised your engine lasted more then a day

well i hoped you learned something valuable (like listening to people and taking there advise )but i do wish you luck in the future man o and by the way i was just messing with what i was saying above so no hard feelings

hey orangeZ no hard feelings taken....and yeah i knew that that motor wouldnt take that much boost for a period f time if any but i have a few motors and some spair time so what the hell i had fut with it! As for the 1.8t head thats my friends he is all about VW and 20V 1.8t 's and when he posted the pics of my cav and motor he posted some of his pics as well. He is hpoeing to get a 500whp dyno sheet from his 20v 1.8t rabbit that he is building. And the sad part about it is i think he'll pull it off!

Maybe the piston let go because you did not retard timing. It kind of looks like detonation.

Lets get this straight, people told you that you'd blow you motor apart with no timing retard. Then you blew your motor apart caused by detonation from no timing retard.

You just proved everyone right that told you that and you're still calling them fools? LOL!

There are some pretty classic signs of detonation in the pics you posted above....

okay im sorry but that pic was misleading .. look at all of the other cylinders ... what happened was the @!#$ty piston rings couldnt handle the CYLINDER PRESSURE (NOT the detonation) it broke and tore off the ring land and the chunks of metal inbeded itself everywhere ..... look at the head .. no problems there in all the other cylinders ... look at "

No the pictures are not miss leading. That is what detonation does, tear the piston's apart!!!

im sorry john higgins .. detonation didnt tear up that piston .. a crappy gm ring broke due to the fact that here was too much cylinder pressure and that tore the ring land off and that metal tore up the head .. look at the other pics .. no signs of detonation on any of the pistons or on the head .

yes running that much boost probably wasnt the smartest thing for the simple fact that the motor has weak rings/pistons . but the fact of the mater is that you dont need any form of timing retard to run over 10 psi like everyone else said. once again people need to realize there was NO DETONATION .

OPEN YOUR EYES
