ok guys/gals i have seen a post before on this but it was hard to find and still havent found it. so ill start a quick on. i remember reading up and hearing a lot of good things about the johnnyracecar front mount intercoolers. who has them, what size, and how do you like it. this i quote right from the site of the one im looking at its a 6"...here it is >>>>This is the six inch tall intercooler that I sale a lot of. I have customers who have installed these on just about everything. There is a stable of cars using these that put down 350 whp. Sizes: Core 30" X 6" X 2" End tanks are 7" tall X 3.25 deep. 2.5" OD piping X 2.5" long This intercooler carries a price tag of $190 shipped to your continental US door.<<<< so tell me if you have it if this should fit my car. and i also have a buddy club 2 kit so the front bumper isnt stock so i think there shouldnt be much cutting. thanks

I have purchased thier 6inch one and for the money, craftsmanship, and even the packaging it arrived to me in was just amazing. Also you figure its a "front" mount intercooler that goes attaches to the front of your car and we all know what different things are going to hit and cause damamge so why blow all that extra money for the same product else where? Atleast with the johnnyracecar.com one you received a high quality product as well as the best price around.

its still a well put together intercooler for the price. Unforuntately I have the older style. (not a big deal really)

ok another question for the 6" and 8" i just saw the 8" and would rather have that one but how was the fitment on both. but really what i mean was witht the front bumper and everything there did the 6" and or 8" give anyone problems with aftermarket front bumpers? i dont want to have to cut away at my 1200$ body kit. thanks again

I just thought of this, in terms of fitment between the 6" and the 8", cut down a cardboard box and measure out the dimentions of the cooler, then put it behind the bumper, see if you have enough clearance for the 8". Just a thought.

BlackyK...you wanna know something funny. this morning i taped paper together and did exactly wat you said. thats pretty weird..but yea the 6" looks like it would fit so im going to draw out and 8. but im glade that i got good reviews on the quality of this product. and when i do get one i will post the size and how it fits for future intercooler buyers. thanks for the input everyone and keep adding if you have more info because i mostlikely will be ordering next week so u have time to add in..thanks again

mine isnt Johnny race car, but my 9" fit at an angle but only with cutting out some of the bumper support and of course all the honey comb on the front of the bumper support.
Course.. we didnt want anything in front of the IC so it could get as much air as possible

i have #1 on your list awesome intercooler it was 195 shipped and came with great packing materials it was encased in layers upon layers of foam you coulda dropped it out a third story window and there would be no damage to it as for fitment i stuck it up under my front bumper support cut out some of the honeycomb and welded the included L-brackets to the suport <looks great to me oh the ends are sealed when shipped w/ big red plugs to keep @!#$ out too, prolly doesnt matter but it looked like a great idea to me
