Old S/C with new head

What do you guys think would be a good set up with the LD9 head. I just picked up one for a swap of an ecotec head. What would be the best rout for valves, springs, lifters, cam's ext. I would greatly appriciate it.

I swear, as loud as you are, you should be doing at least 200 mph.

You can get valves and valve springs from Mantapart or from Karo, $300 tops

Your lifters should be fine to reuse since your car is an 02

On the cams, the secret cam swap or JBP stage 1's would be fine with your SC.

Actually the head is off of 97 grand am auto. I would like to go with a more radical setup since I plan on lowering the compression ratio and I am already running a 2.5" pully on the sc. I may even do a little port word on the back of the sc.

Kinda makes it sound like you are trying to swap the Eco head with the LD9 head.... you aren't doing that right?

I thought that too, from what I gathered after reading it 5 times, is that he traded an Eco head for an LD9 head....?

No I have 2 Eco heads, and 1 2.4 head along with a set of 3100 heads. That would be impossible to switch an Eco head to a 2.4.

the eco and 2.4 are not compatable

atleast the 2.4 tc motor

the 2.4 eco once it comes out then parts will be interchangable

That still does not answer my question. What would be good setup (more than the secret cam swap) for a hot street/strip car? I want to lower my compression and maybe even add NO2.

Unless you are going to a standalone, you will not be able to use anything more aggressive the secret cams or JBP stage 1's

I deffinitly want to do a stand alone. I want to in increase my rev limiter, I want to be able to do pully swaps, and like I said, run about a 50 shot of NO2.
