You can get it from the oil filter housing like GM Racing and I did Phil
But you can also get it from that little plug in the picture.
The only problem is that, that little fitting in the picture is the metric thread and you will not be able to find an aftermarket adapter with that thread size.

Actually let me get ahold of the GM Racing and I will try to get you one for free, like an adapter that will fit in there that GM made for their race cars, last time I talked to them they said they 'll send me one in mail for free, but I never gave them my address cause I did mine in the filter housing.
If not free I can probably pick it up for cheap for you Phil.
Pays to have friends like that ah??

those jegs adapters 2278 are the threads for the ecotec block shown in the picture provided in redrum187's post?? becuase i was gonna drill and tap for 1/8 th NPT but if that adapter is the metric threading to the block and 1/8th NPT on the other end..ill buy that instead of Drill/tapping.

that 2278 adapter at the bottom (105-2278 1/8'' NPT to M12 x 1.75 ) of the jegs page will screw right into the block?

yeah i got that autometer adapter, 2278 will screw right into the block into one of those plug holes. if anyone is going to use this (the easiest way), look on the driver side of the cylinder head, you will see two plugs, just unscrew one of the plugs and you got pressure.

The information is correct, the threads in the ecotec oil gallery are M12 X 1.75. We have made these adapters before we knew autometer made the adapter.
