Tuesday, March 15, 2005 8:09 AM
Just curious if anyone was using the log manifolds advertised on Ebay for around $200

these ones: log manifold

Are they decent for the money, or should I really spend the $600 on the cavalierconnectoins manifold??

Those manifolds look cheaper every time i see them... i heard of a few peoples cracking already because they came to me asking for warranty repair and when i asked where they got the manifold they said from a guy in canada (him) and i told them it wasnt mine and that they were outta luck.

i have a 99 Z24 and i kno its not the 2.2 but i think its the same manifold pretty much well atleast its from the same person so the quality is the same the styles are some what different. im hoping to see it around thursday since he ships "fast" he said 2-4 days so we will see. but ill post up again when i get it then again when its installed to keep the updates. im doing it all myself so ill have updates quick. if i have a problem installing ill mention it too if fittments suck. there is already a post about these http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=40&i=66978&t=66529#66978 check it out they seem to be good thats why i ordered one.

Its not the same. I have a 2.2 and a 2.4 flange sitting here. It's different.

There is a company called TSI that makes a turbo kit for the 2.2 OHV motor that comes with a cast manifold. I don't know anything about the kit, a friend of mine is looking into it and showed me. It looks like a pretty nice kit. Here is a link to the kit.(bottom kit)

Does anyone know the legitimacy of the kit that Travieso posted above? I have never heard of that company before but that sounds like a decent deal.
