Any one with GM s/c have dyno sheets over 200whp?
Wednesday, March 16, 2005 11:49 PM
Ok well i have tones and tones of people saying how 2.4L's with the gm supercharger will never be able to make over 200hp (keep in mind these are all import lovers who basically worship fast / furious) but if you have dyno sheets for 200hp or more post em up please.. and if this in the wrong forum i am sorry :S

I should have some new dyno numbers before summer. I put down 176whp and 172.3 ft lbs with just the charger, intake and mounts. Wondering how much a header and 2.5" exhaust would help out.

i will be at the dyno here this spring after some new fangled parts. Wonder if i can hit 200whp on just 4.5psi. Hmm, guess we will have to wait and see.

also i think mike jazz put down 199, and so did calvin close enough.

not to hard to get 200whp with the charger as it loves breathing, so just bolt ons will usually take it there

What up Z got the car running but I didnt have to lean it out any with the safc Y would that be email me with an answer please. Not to hijack the thread, 200 should be possible with just bolt on's.

ahh thank you guys... Mr. Pute.. i will see what they say now about your dyno sheets. one guy even tried to argue with me saying 2.4L's come stock with 110hp at the wheels. oh yes and anther one said the the GM supercharger is the @!#$tiest kit ever made for jbodies and that the RSM was better engineered then the GM one

Roughly 40 degrees F but the dyno corrects for atmosphere to sea level and temperature back to 70 degrees F.

Also, that "Torque Flywheel" label is wrong. That IS torque at the wheels.

What a$$clowns. I had 140 whp bone stock. I bet they wouldn't believe a 2.4 could run 13's with nothing other than nitrous too.

ahahaah WOW!! these people are morons.... i put the charts up for them and look at these responses i got.

"I have a few questions about that first by looking at the curve its corrected numbers, and secondly the dyno does not list any of the modifications on the car. Thirdly it looks like that was drawn in with a blue pen. Which shop did the dyno? Also how are you get two values at the same rpm? on the same dyno run. "

"Do you have one with true rear wheel numbers? Not corrected? "
he thinks the engine was pulled out and dynoed ahahaah

please if any one on here has or goes to www.nexopia.com go into the "wheels" forum and tell them that they dont know any thing.. they don't even believe dyno sheets.

Tell them to have somebody there verify the supercharger numbers for Andrew Murrell's 00 Cavalier. They can explain how those numbers are AT THE WHEELS as well.

On second thought, tell your "people" that they're mentally retarded. I've put too much money into my @!#$ car to fake these numbers.

I've already explained the situation: 2k Cavalier, lower motor mount, warm air intake, supercharger. I don't have anything else to tell them.

BTW: Arnjolt was there at the time of the dyno.

Yea you dont under stand how dumb these guys are... This is what one guy said to me
"you obviously have never worked on a high performance engine like my 1.8L engine in my integra" it isnt even a GSR integra and i beet a gsr with no problems...
Mr. Pute - do you mind if i post your email for the few who still dont believe me to email you and ask you?

Yes I do mind. If they don't believe me, that's cool. It's not my fight nor do I want to make it my fight.

Stupid and childish on their behalf.

Thanks for understanding that I don't want to be bothered by the Honduh idiots (no offense to the unbiased import owners roaming this site.)

^^True-True my dyno run registered when it was N/A at 135.8Hp (136HP) with just a K&N drop-in filter and no fan in front of the car. Today I called to do a dyno run at dealer where I originally did, but the guys are dropping a Vette tranny, so I will have to wait for next week to test it.

Hi friends, I am looking for some SC dyno sheets done in a hot climate, like Florida, 75-90ºF (21-32ºC). I want to know what would be the bone stock capabilities of the SC in my hot climate.

Comments and experience are welcome,

Regards,
