i dont know if anyone has don this to their car, but yah what im talking about is the like the chevy ss truck, that style of turbo where it is mounted in place of the exhaust, if someone has done this plz post some pis,a dn if someone knows some very sueful information plz post im thknign of doing this on my car, i know sts doesnt make one for our car but i would liek to do it plz post

This has been posted a bunch of times, nobody has done it to thier car, the oil lines would be a nightmare, then on top of that its hard enough routing a single exhaust pipe under there, try routing a charge pipe as well...

it has been done, somebody posted pics a while back of it done on a 2.8 or 3.1, dont remember

isn't this called a remote mount turbo system?

the cons outweigh the pro's in this case.

if that is what you're talking about.

think about all that distance the exhaust gas has to travel.

talk about turbo lag?

yeah a 3.1 has it done around here he runs like mid 13's on 13 psi..


shifted what we had planned on doing before AI went the conventional way was have jarret beier produce a small 1 or 2 qt oil pan have it mounted under the car with a pump in the return line, we priced it all out and it was like 700 or 800 bucks
