This is really weird, I just installed the e-manage software on my laptop and when I open the program while not being hooked up to the car, it says its online. Then when connect the laptop to the e-manage box, it goes offline, I have uninstalled and re installed many times, can anyone help?

well I tried a new laptop and it seemed to be working, then when I came came back a couple hours later, it would stay offline when it was hooked up and ignition on. Could something be bad?

The first problem is very wierd. Are you using a proper communication cable to connect your laptop to the emanage (either the actual greddy serial-to-usb cable or a "chipped" knockoff)?

For the second problem, check the com port settings in the communications (i believe) menu.

yeah i am using the cable that came with the support tool. i tried all the different COM port settings and COM2 will say its online, but nothing is transmitting from actual box to the laptop. the weirdest thing is how it worked and then a couple hours later its not working at all. man this is pissing me off and i have no idea what the problem is.

Did you adjust every thing while the engine was cold or at operationg temp? Because that can cause a problem. When the engine is cold it needs more fuel. When it is warm it needs less.
