what cars if any have a turbo charger that will work on the cavalier 2.2? i am too cheap to buy a kit so if i could salvage one and build the brackets that would be better.

brackets? with any turbo from another car you'll need an exhaust manifold made for it, not to mention all the supporting mods (fuel, ignition etc etc). Just save for a kit
any turbo will work. But the question is, will it be efficient and is there currently a manifold made with that size flange. No brackets on a turbo just a mani. Like he said, just save for a kit or figure out what turbo you're going to use and see who makes a manifold or will make a mani to fit it.
