Well, I was heading to the dealer on Saturday to get a reflash, and ironically the car died on the way there. Towed it home, replaced the FPR as I think that was going bad. Turned the key, and didn't hear the pump prime. Swapped fuses with my other cavalier, no luck (although both worked in the other car). I assume that means the pump is junk?
My Dad and I dropped the tank today, and pulled the whole pump. But we can't get the lines disconnected. The manual says a special tool is needed, is that the case? Now I have a post saved (<a href="http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=40&i=24017&t=24017">Here</a>
regarding a Walbro pump. How can I be sure purchasing this pump will be the fix? Meaning, how do I know I don't need a new sending unit, etc. as well?
Lastly, parked the car last October, just got it out. Thought I filled the tank before storing it, but I guess not. When dropping the tank it was dry. Did I burn my pump out?
