well tonight i was getting on the freeway and my boost gauge went up to like 10psi when it is always 6psi, then my motor started to smoke bad and i pulled over coolent was everywhere, so i think i jumped timing under boost a blew the head gasket. the motors still run but it sounds like the timing is off

i doubt it jumped timing, if the chain jumped you would know about it as it would be protruding out of the side of the timing chain cover lol

ive seen these engines timing go and its not pretty its not like a belt where they can slip and jump to the next grove

i think you probably blew something else...

well it was only a blown head gasket. but why would it go to 10psi?

agreed. I didnt think the timing jumped either. If so you would have some bent valves.
