is this on a fully built motor adler? Why would you have blown something if it was a built motor? Also were you on race gas or pump?

Yea, it is a built motor. I am glad that the motor even lasted this long . I wasnt surprised that it let go. Well, I dont even know what let loose inside the motor since I havent pulled it out yet. The car was tuned on pump gas & methanol. Later that day, we put in 117 race gas for the track...which probably only slowed the car down since we did not add any timing. The rest of the time it was on pump gas and methanol injection. I had been running straight methonal in the tank for a long time. I decided to do a 50/50 mix with water and methanol. About a day or two after beating on the car with the 50/50 mix is when I heard the noise.

Yea, they are Ford injectors. After I put the car back to stock, sell all of the racing parts, and pay off a bill or two, I want get a 1999-2002 Corvette C5. Maybe do longtubes, exhaust, and a cam.

Adler, there might be a few things i want to buy from you if you have them. what parts in the motor like, valve conponents do you have, bottom end, fuel set up? let me know

The only valvetrain that I have are stainless steel valves. I woud rather sell those with the ported head. I am not forsure what is still good in the bottem end since I havent pulled the motor out yet. The only thing that I know is still good are the ARP headstuds. Someone else on here has already asked me about the fuel set up.

adler the turbo 'kit' your selling would include what?

I"m guesing

manifold
turbo
oil lines and fittings
intercooler
piping
maybe downpipe too?
injectors

I'm definetly interested in your injectors & clips adler.. and your turbo

i'll try to catch you on aim sometime... its a damn shame about your car but if I can continue your legacy kind of by having your parts, so be it

The turbo kit will come with everything you have listed plus the blow off valve, turbo header coated by Jet Hot, 3 inch downpipe set up for V-band, wastegate, probably the FMU, IAC sensor,etc..
I am not forsure about the injectors since a few other people have asked about buying them.

Here is a pic of the header, turbo, and exhaust before we put it on the car.

Well, it all depends on what u want with the kit....
Do you want the entire turbo set up with the fmu, injectors, boost gauge, egt gauge, fuel pressure gauge, oil pressure gauge, oil temp gauge, new oil cooler, turbo timer, etc..?

Adler dont piece that thing its the fastest 2.2 ohc out there. when you spank mustangs and evo's in a econobox sunfire people cry but if you do it in a corvette it dont impress the masses. Plus us 2.2 guys need a faster car than ours to look up to.

Just the main stuff you listed and the FMU, i dont think i can use the injectors since yours are high imp and mine are low...

I have already made up my mind about parting everything out. If I pull out the motor and find out that it is something minor, I will still sell everything. It was fun pulling away from the Mustangs, Cobras, Corvettes, Lancer Evos, F-bodies, Supras, WRXs, BMWs, and SRT-4s but I only did it to impress myself not anyone else. Just like when I get the Corvette, I am only getting it for myself....not to impress anyone else.
Just wait until Dan Cotter, Lowfire, Luc, and HotRod V6 get their turbo 2.2s running. Their motors should easily make more power than mine. Their cars will easily be in the 12s if they can keep from breaking drivetrain parts.

Unless you plan on a lot of boost that is hella fuel for out engine.

Would those GM s/c 2.4 injectors work on a 97 2.2 engine... i think their the same but there are some big differences...

not at all, your motor has side fed injectors, 98+ 2.2's have top fed.
