dude, the point was, track TIMES don't mean crap about an engines power... its TRAP SPEED. Me and you have close to the same trap speeds, meaning our power to weight ratio is about the same, meaning your car could be just as fast as me if you learned to drive it better.

So you saying that times are what matters is incorrect. Elapsed time cannot be used to judge a car, or a motor, or a modification. Times are a function of driver, traction, and overall USE of the power to weight ratio. Trap speeds are the better indicator of power to weight ratio. If you need slicks to run a 13.7, you seriously need to rethink your game plan. My 13.6 was on bone stock RSA's with 40K miles on them. You don't need more power, you need to learn to use what you have first.

Beyond that, you say you trapped 98mph running 6 psi... well my car is only a few pounds heavier than yours probably is, and trapping 99mph I'm making 221 whp and 265 wtq. Meaning that you were probably making between 195-205 whp at the time of that 6 psi pass... But yet, you post how you can't believe that Jtuners made 180whp with 1.4 psi less, and a better exhaust manifold?

Jay does know his sh!t even IF he drives a beetle!!!

just pokin fun...
