Oil Lines for Garrett T25
Monday, March 01, 2010 3:31 PM
So I have a garrett T25 that i'm ready to plumb.
I am using the stock water lines, in and out, since they are in usable condition.
But I need to get new oil feed/return lines.
I have an LT3 so the block has a tap on it and the feed comes from a hole above the oil filter.
I've read that 4AN hose size is good for the t25 since its a journal bearing.
This is the correct hose size, but what kind of fitting/hose end should I use?
I'm pretty sure the feed is M12, but I'm not positive.
The return is huge, something like M20 or M22 with a 10/12 AN hose size.
I'd like to use the straight swivel seal hose ends, they have to be male though, or else I'd have to get metric to AN fittings right?
Somebody has to have dealt with this, since the t25 is a popular street turbo ( yes I know its small).
Anyways, the block has a female connector, that is huge, probably a female version of the male return that bolts to the turbo.
Any help is appreciated, I've already found a place to get my SS lines, but I'm having a hard time finding anything as far as hose ends/fittings.
