saab td04 oil reducer and coolant return question
Thursday, May 26, 2011 12:03 PM
Im making custom lines for my td04.
Question 1 do I need an oil reducer? The banjo bolt I got has a. 06 reducer built in. Should I drill that out a bit? That seems to small like it will starve the turbo.
Question 2 which heater hose line should I tee my oil return into or does it not matter?
question 3 on the cartridge which is coolant feed and which is coolant return?

Thank you in advance

Well yeah, the oil makes the water more slippery jk.
That should say COOLANT instead of oil. (But you knew that)

The coolant just flows through the turbo so the line orientation shouldn't matter.

oil is supply top and return bottom
coolant is supply in front and return in the rear

I sell billett coolant tees to supply from upper hose to turbo and tee for the heater core line to dump back in

pm if interested..

thanks

He can also just tap into both heater core hoses instead of one to the radiator hose and the other to one heater hose. That's what I plan to do.
