Turbo or supercharger info

Hello I'm looking to boost my 2000 2.2 cavy and have no idea what I should choose they dnt make a lot of performance parts for 2.2 mom ecotec and was wondering if there was a kit out there turbo or supercharger and how much am I looking to spend on a setup can u guys help

There is no supercharger set up designed for the 2200 motor. Turbo's and SC's have very different performance characteristics, capabilities and limitations; I would suggest getting on google and learn a bit about them and which is what you are looking for. Garrett Turbo had a decent write up on turbo's last time I checked. There are also a lot of books on both of them.

Some people hate ebay kits and some never had an issue. I never used one but it looks like it comes with everything you need but injectors, tune, and exhaust which should not be to complicated. Maybe the tune. For the price seems like a good starting point.

You will have to convert to top feed injectors if I recall as well. Then pair it with a kit, and on top of that figure out how to tune it...... you are looking at well over $1000 to just get it started even.

Ok thanks guys so I'm just better off buyin a ecotec cavy and then boost it

His 2000 LN2 is already top feed injectors.

People have made good power on stock motor LN2's. Tuning is the biggest concern. It can be done with a GM LD9 reflash but you need to find someone who knows what they are doing.

Can it be done and my ? Is how do I do a ld9 reflash isn't that a 2.4 motor

. I did some research and found a Hahn race craft turbo kit that with produce 8 psi without having to do internel work to my motor but idk i might just keep it stock and go import

because the pcm doesnt know what engine it is controlling....
