can i still use my stock map sensor or i need something special ?

i have seen some gm maps that reads 1 bar and 3 bars, should i buy one of those ?

1 bar is about atmospheric pressure at sea level (about 14.7 psi), what you and I experience. In other words a 1 bar sensor reads negative pressure and this is what our cars have stock. A 2 bar sensor reads up to positive 14.7 psi, and a 3 bar sensor reads to about 29 psi, get the idea? The downside to using a higher bar sensor is you loose resolution, If your going to run 16 psi a 2 bar sensor should be fine.

Depends on what you're using for tuning.

GM uses a bolt in 2bar on the LD9 supercharger setup, and a 2.5 bar on the Eco supercharger.
