This is actually my first post on this forum. Sorry if i ask anything that seems like a stupid question. What I'm wondering, is how much is a general price range to boost my cav? I'm used to driving a firebird, so this power change has me a little confused. What all turbos could i use? I do know that i don't want to boost to much, 5-6 psi or so. Basically, i just want to boost up some power, so i can keep up(i mean seriously, my buddies tC got the best of me -.-). Any ideas would be welcome! THanks again!

Turbo parts for lower boost levels can be inexpensive depending on where you look and what you're comfortable running. I ran 5,8,12 then 21 psi on a totally eBay setup last year and it lasted.

However with the 97 2.2, your challenge is the injectors. You'd need to do a top feed conversion to be able to get enough fuel through it to tune it safely for boost. That would be where I would start.
