Ok, I was really hoping to get my answers by using the search button. I figured this question had to be asked just about every other week. I was unsuccessful in my searches(I did see the one of suncavi's where he talks about a 2.2 to 2.4 5sp swap). If anybody knows a good post on this subject please point me in the right direction.

Here's what I'm looking at getting: tranny, all pedals, clutch disc and pressure plate, flywheel, master cylinder, shifter and cables,console, half shafts, transmission mounts and computer. Am I missing anything?

Other various questions:
I shouldn't need the engine wiring harness right?

What about any sensors? I read something about wiring in VSS sensors and reverse light sensors (if I do, could you send me a link to some instructions- i've already searched and searched JBO).

My gauge cluster already has a tach, will it still work?

Zach man, what are you thinking tach and tranny have nothing to do with each other. Yes your Tach will work.

In essence I'm wondering just what you are. This summer I'm going to try to put in my 2001 2.2 auto, a 3.4, 5 speed manual.
