What do the 3-4th gears look like?

i'm going to a junk yard and gonna try to find a 2.2 or a geo 5 speed. If i open up the tranny, where are the 3-4th gears located? how can i spot them? also what other things should i grab off that tranny, someone told me the differential swaps into my izuzu

First off in order to open up the trans you have to do a lot of work. third and fourth gear are located between the second shift fork. They will be the top set of gears the second set is used to spin the final drive. WARNING if you get the second set you will have a 1:1 gear ratio.

lol , I just realized I have 3rd and 4th labeled wrong. 4th should have almost the same size gears since its close to 1:1 ratio.

anyway...


I still have one older diff with machined gears left if anyone needs one $200 shipped.
