I'm doing the auto to tranny swap, i pretty much got everything except for the mount supports that are welded to the frame. insted of cutting it, can i just buy some steel and make my own, it doesnt look too hard, weld the plates to the frame and drill a hole for the mount bolt...can it be made and what kind of steel should i be looking for?
