Ok, my wife's 98 Cav is having some problems. It's an automatic. Here's the problem. When you shift into reverse and drive, the whole car jerks and then starts shaking. Doesn't last long, but still very annoying. Also, whenever we come to a stop it shakes until we're completely stopped and then shakes again when we start to move. Anybody else have this problem? What can I do to fix it? Thanks for the help.

sounds like the torque converter lock up clutch is shuddering possibly.
