a BETTER clutch resevoir bracket.

i installed an aftermarket intake into my 03' ecotec not too long ago and found that i need a bracket for my clutch resevoir. AEM offers one, but maybe its just me, but you have to have an AEM intake to make it work right???? all i know is after about $30 bucks, the bracket was worth nothing to me. for the rest of us using something other than AEM, i made my own bracket thats twice as sturdy. ive had it on since about december/january and have had zero maintenance with it......

so what im saying is, im thinking of building these for anyone on the Jbody.org site and selling them for substantially cheaper than AEM... this surely beats using zip ties and otherr ghetto rigged stuff...im thinking about doing it for $15 plus shipping....and ill discount for group purchases.

i will def be willing to put up pics if there is interest.

i am also making them available in just about any color you want. they are NOT PAINTED . they will be POWDERCOATED, powdercoating is waaaay more durable than anodizing and painting and looks better. i can get transparents, solids, metallics or just bare aluminum clear-coated.

you can leave a response here, or email me at hopesfall7@aol.com

thanks!

Bracket?? Mine's been zip-tied to the strut tower for years now with no issues.

This is the best pic I've got of it... which is crap... but you can see where it is. It's tied to the bracket that the airbox normally holds onto.

I would be interested if it were cheaper, not that your price is even bad, but why spend more than $5 on something when the yellow ziptie I've been using works just fine? I don't even think my ziptie looks all that bad. It's in the same place as yours, Weasel.

I'll definitely check back to see if you have pics though. Sounds like a cool project.
