looks cool. I hope you see a nice differece.
Oh man! Can't believe you are supercharged! PICS PICS!! That will really be a nice setup.
=========================
Those were good pics though. I had to laugh when I saw that subframe out. What a royale pain. Good pic of where the starter was, to line up the TC.
I really like that Camaro subframe. You can drop the whole deal out at once...engine tranny EVERYTHING. That would be a little harder with a Cavy, right? LOL The way the engine and trans is mounted.

actually Davide the subframe wasnt that bad at all, the only bad thing was having to have 2 other people help hold it in place to start the bolts putting it back in
keep us updated on how the N2O and supercharged vehicels react with this
04 sunfire auto, mid 15's n/a, and still going
what is the part that takes the longest? is it the actual getting at the tc or actually putting it in? would it dramatically reduce the time if the engine and tranny was already out or what? thanks
Picked up the car yesterday afternoon. Took the car out for a lil test drive as soon as I got it back. The main thing that I noticed is that my brake stall on street tires is around 500 RPM higher (from to 2,000 to 2,500) than the old converter, which is good. I also noticed that the car would shoot straight into the 3,000 RPM range immediately after hitting the gas off a launch. No wheel hop was present, but increased tire spin was. I think with the nitrous, slicks & adjusting the shocks to fully firm, I should be able to launch from a brake stall of 2,600 to 2,700 RPM straight into my nitrous shot (3,000RPM) with no traction problems. My main concern is the axles, but with wheel hop being non existent with my setup, I am pretty confidant that they will hold. All in all, I was hoping for a lil higher brake stall, but I believe this will finally get me in the sub 2.0 60ft times in my auto. For those who are worried about the street-ability of the converter, it is not an issue. The only thing weird that I noticed is that my A/F ratio at 60mph went from a 13.5:1 ratio to a more rich 11.8:1 ratio. This could be just a coincidence, but after 80 miles of driving it has not changed. Can a converter affect your A/F ratio???
I plan on going to the track Tuesday if I can magically scrape up some cash.. I will let everyone know my results..

I think you will get the higher stall you wanted when you add in the nitrous. Also, were you accelerating at 60 or was the TC locked up?
Your brake stall will be lower with mods. It doesn't have as much power down low to make the stall higher.
Glad everything is working out so far. Do you notice a smaller drop in RPM after shifts while driving moderately?
I have the higher stall version, however, I don't run nitrous. With nitrous I would be worried about the higher stall version... IE too much wheel spin!
