First thing is that I'm an F-body guy so I'm not to familiar with my wifes 99 cavalier. I also must say this no dipstick fluid level screw is one of the dumbest things I ever had to look for. Could someone please tell me where it is. Front, Back, side I have no idea. I dont wanna start taking random screws out of the Transmission.

There isnt one. You have to put the car jacks or whatever you use. Next, on the transmission ( on the side) there looks like a drain plug. That is the only way you can check the transmission. You have to loosen that drian plug and when done but the drian plug back in. I have had to do mine that way.

That wasn't very clear

The check bolt is on the passenger side of the tranny... just above the axle. I believe it's an 11mm bolt? Most of the others are 10mm.. so don't remove those

You have to check it with the car running, in park.. otherwise that bolt will just barf out fluid if the car is off.

When it's at the correct level, you can take the bolt out and no fluid will come out. Be prepared to catch extra fluid if it does pour out... or to add more and re-check it once you'd topped it up.
