Got a question about the 95-99 Isuzu 5 speed manual tranny for the 2200 motor.

Both of the output axle shaft seals are leaking and i need to replace them. I work for a chevy dealership as did my dad in previous years, and he has quite a few of new axle seals still in mint condition in packaging. The part numbers on these are older numbers, therefore i cannot tell if they will work in place of the ones i have in there now. They are GM OEM Parts, so dont get me wrong: but anyone who has dealt with a gm tranny and used GM seals should know my question here:

the 2200 5 speed isuzu tranny: What "color" are the seals? i *heard* somewhere it uses the green seals, however these ones i have laying here in the garage are red ones.. Well technically i've heard EVERYTHING. I've heard "use red" "Use green" "use blue" but i guess i will figure it out when i goto put them in.. So as said... anyone with a little knowledge of this area, would the red ones work?

I have a 2.4 with the isuzu tranny and I belive my seals were blue. I have one in my tool box ill go double check.

but i went through 3 of the gm ones , i got some TIMKEN ones from autozone. they wre like 5$ a peice and havent leaked yet.
