Just a quick question i know it seems stupid but, how many of you with aftermarket motor mounts have gotten grief from there dealer about it ?

Well, considering mounts don't push the engine any harder, change any settings, or void any warranty, I'd tell them to shut the f*ck up if they said anything about it...

depends what you are trying to get warrantied, im sure if you take it in for a rattling dash, they can pretty easily prove the mounts add vibes, if its something like a broken left flasher in the rear... I wouldlove to see the argument to prove that the mounts did it

well thanks for answering my question, well i was thinking about buying them but i was wondering if the dealer is going to make life hard like lets say for some reason i get a check engine light. could they blame the mounts for it just as a excuse not to service it under warranty and thanks again for answering

I'd like to see them prove that a metal mount that isn't connected to any electrical system, is causing a check engine light, lol.

Then again, maybe they'd use some BS argument and claim the mounts are off-setting the engine and making it angled, and the oil level is reading wrong in the engine due to it being slightly being off. Then they'd claim that you could throw a rod in this position and that your warranty is junk all because of a small motor mount...

LOL
