i think it was the best $30 ive spent though i love how it shifts now
you may gain like .1-.2 at the very most it will definitely help on the life of the clutches though eliminates slippage during normal engagment of the clutches between shifts

I LOVE IT.
And you can change the settings from inside the car. Off, level 1 and level 2.

ya easily worth it, if you can tell the diference in colors of wires, to find the right one, its easy to splice it in and such. The car shifts so much better on 1, 2 is aggressive, but feels like you have a manual and can just pound through the gears.

Id like to get one of those.
I've had the autotrans before.
I like the dummy factor of the autotrans, but the price of the B&M is decent.

But I'd rather someone else who has it install for me. (wires, and route through the car to mount the switch)
Will pay of course.

I have one on mine and the Cavalier is the first car i've ever owned/driven and I installed mine before. Its not all that hard, some people say its like a 10 minutes install but for me it took a little longer because I wasnt completely familiar with the engine bay. but overall it is quite easy to install.

Bah.. unless something's changed (which I haven't checked.. so call me ignorant..) the B&M wasn't designed for the 4T40E anyway..

Interceptors can be had for $49 on Ebay... if you're that worried about the cost.

lots of ppl have them installed and work properly,

one benefit is the control u get inside... dont have to pop the hood and unscrew and adjust just flip a switch
