From what I understand the wires are the same colors. You need to attach the black wire from the kit to the light blue/white stripe wire, the red wire from the kit goes to the red wire/black stripe (there should be 2 of these, one with a thin black stripe and one with a thick black stripe, you want the one with the thick black stripe). Get it and enjoy.

yeah mine doesnt look like that Cinny i wish it did cuz i wanna play with the shiftplus! idk about you guys but my car moves pretty good already id like to give it a little more of a push though im a speed addict, and when i drive like a normal person, thats when i get in trouble, usualy go 65-70 in a 55 but with my last car was going 55 in a 55 (almost out of gas trying to conserve!) some chic turned infront of me and wrecked my 98 hyundai elantra i <3'd that car (moment of silence) if i had been driving like i normaly do, i would of been past that spot by like 2 minutes so you wont see me drive like that again! speed saves!

I have 115000km on my (about 70000km) on mine, and I've been running it in stage 1 for about........2 years, 1.5 years... not sure. But quite a while without problems.

Only use stage 2 at the strip. It's harsh.

ok thanks so nothing over stage one on the street do you run that all the time like as a daily driver? and is it a big difference like you will realy notice it ?

Yup, I run it EVERY day.

It's very noticeable, when you drive without it it feels like the car is being sucked back during shifts. When you drive with it, it kicks your car forward (though not violently) into the next gear.

Chris you wired it wrong. Make sure that you connected to the right wires on the plug to the transmission, also the connectors that come with it suck, solder them in and then use the heat shrink wrap for them.

Any problems to report on the 2004 Cavalier with the install...

1. Are the wires the same?

2. Transmission should be the same?

3. Problems I may incounter?

Thanks for the help...

just put it on the gf's car, most time consuming part of the install was figuring out where to mount the controller otherwise totally plug and play which is good and the gf is super happy with it
