I think I got it straightned out....... I told them to either charge me for what I ordered, or I'll dispute all charges....... they wrote back saying the issue is resolved, and they hope to serve me in the future.

The next batch (5 speed) should be in by the end of the month......

I do have a design for the 3 speeds done, just need to have one made up and test fitted, but I'd like to run a GP on them so I dont get stuck holding a bunch of 3 speed LSDs.... The 4 speeds will come next, I have to clean out the T/G Barn soon, so all that stuff will get pulled out and ripped apart, so I can design/test fit inserts for them.

Brian, so how long are talking for the 4spds? I know its the last thing on the list, but I just wanna plan out my engine swap. I kinda wanna do put the LSD in while the Z motor and tranny are already out of the car.

Thanks.

if I try my hardest, maybe middle of next month I might have a design...... then it takes a month to get the plates...... I can try for sooner, but wouldnt hold your breath...... I would also set up a GP for these, as the price for making the plates jumped in the last few months. (damn price of steel and american workers..... lol)

The plates for the 5 spd's just came in, I should have the springs by middle next week, then they should be able to go out. After the 'disagreement' I had with the machine shop, they came threw with an awsome product and even got it to me earlier then expected. I'll deff. keep doing buisness with them.

I'll be working on test fitting the 3 spd units in the next few weeks, and then get to that 4 speed for you guys.

As for a GP, I'll look into setting one up, although the price will stay the same (the normal price might jump $10 per unit to cover increasing costs incurred).

Thanks again guys for keeping this thread alive.

so pretty much to install into the getrag transmission, you need to take apart all the case bolts, and pull the plug that is about 2" from the input shaft. (replace this piece part# is earlier in this thread) we were careful and got it out undamaged. Not sure what size hex that bolt is but it is NOT 12mm, I bought a 12mm and it is WAY TO BIG, I think we uses a 3/8" extension with no socket... or something like that anyways.

anyways, once you got that out, remove the two c-clips, and then the VSS ring (make sure to put on straight once done) then gentlely press the blocks in, make sure the little metal pieces are all accounted for before you put the diff back in, oh and cut the ziptie before putting it in.

oh and thanks man, this thing comes out of the corners really well now, I have 2500km on it, and I love it, I thought it would be tighter from what people were saying, but they obviously were crying about nothing, it feels like a good factory diff now.. A+

The 12mm are found on the other side of the trans, under the end plate cover........ I think the one found under the plug is a 8mm? its the same size as the body of my torx sockets.

oh, good call, lol, on second thought I think I bought a 12mm allen key with 3/8" drive, likely my problem... but if I ever need that I have it now
