Ok I'm not sure if anyone has allready posted this already if so... sorry
but i contacted Jeff Ianitello from Engineered Performance and found out they do make a clutch type LSD
what they told me via email
Quote:

Yes, I do! The EP-LSD for the Isuzu 5-speed is $599, on sale now for $499, only two left at that price. (inventory reduction!) Please call the number below to order. Paypal preferred, but US Postal money orders also accepted. (add 4% for PP) Allow 3-4 bus days for build time. Let me know if you have any questions.

The EP-LSD is a TRUE clutch-type, pre-loaded limited slip unit. it is based on the stock differential, so no extra machine work is required for installation.

also available for
Hydramatic 125 3-speed
440T4
4T40/45/60/60E/65E/65E-HD 4-speed
Getrag 282 5-speed
Isuzu 5-speed/Muncie 4-speed
for more info goto http://www.engineered.net/eplsd

again sorry if anyone has already posted this

I have the prototype EP LSD in my Isuzu trans. It looks like a phanton grip front the outside because the clutches are behind the spider gears. I will try to find pics of mine

Sales never took off because the price of the Phatom Grip is cheaper

I found a picture. I sent EP a differential from a 90 Sunbird which had stronger machined spider gears

Looks just like a team green LSD insert, I'd rather pay the $200 for a tg rather than $600 for the other one.

Not worth it when you can get a Team Green (Brian's) for a 1/3 the cost, and his are proven in 100's of transmissions.

I've heard good things about the EP insert, just never used one.

If you search hard, you *MIGHT* be able to find a true LSD for the Isuzu..... there were guys who went in on a GP with guys from over seas to get a Quaife. Search the Impulse/Storm forums, and I think Lotus forums (if I remember correctly, some of them used a Isuzu trans for a few years? Its been awhile, might be wrong)

Or, get the Getrag and the OBX..... but after the parts for the swap, trans, and LSD, you may have spent less on a Isuzu Quaife (if you can find one)

The F23 Diff is not compatible with the Isuzu transmission.... so you would never be able to machine it to fit.
