I have a 2002 cavalier auto with I believe the 4t40e transmission, I will be changing the fluid and filter, when refilling how much do I need to put in before checking the level, I searched a little about this and it states 11 quarts, and under the autozone repair they state 12.9 quarts total refill.
Will changing the fluid be considered a total refill? or is it just 6 quarts after draining fluid and changing filter?
