I was wanting to know what all is involved with changing my 2003 sunfire's automatic transmission to a manual? Any help would be appreciated.

the search feature is your friend buddy. type in auto to manual and you will find a plethera of threads involving the parts steps and fabrication involved in the process
some basic things i can tell you on this swap is you need a F23 5spd getrag transmission from a 03-05 cavi or fire. next you will need to cut out the transmission mounts as they are much different from that of your auto. you will need the flywheel, clutch, clutch pedal, shifter, the linkages, clutch resivouir, a rewire to accommidate the proper plugs for the manual trans, and a flash to let the computer know your no longer an auto.
that is just a few things off the top of my head i can think of.
I'm doing this swap now, its easier if u find a good parts car and swap the parts, or have a professional do the work..
