ýThose of you that do not know a 2.4L has a 3.63 FDR and a 2.2 Ecotec has a 3.91 FDR when both mated to the 4T40E transmissions
4T40E/2.4L/Jbody=3.05 Diff+32/38 sprocket gears= 3.63 FDR
4T40E/2.2L/Jbody=3.29 Diff+32/38 sprocket gears= 3.91 FDR
4T60E/2.4L/ Nbody96-98= 3.05 Diff+33/37 sprocket gears= 3.42FDR
4T40E/2.2L/Nbody99-up= 3.29 diff=32/38 sprocket gears= 3.91 FDR
I assume the 99-up N body 2.4L has the 3.05 diff w/ 32/38 sprockets.... or it could possibly be the 4t45...

Sprockets =/= gears.

OCD Engineer moment...

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

The 98 Sunfire is from a 2.2!... More better pictures of the teeth and WHAT year ecotec or Twincam the diff was pulled from the 4T40E trans would help the "PROOF" you guys want. HELL!.. I dont even have a J body car and yet still proved to show facts and thats my final decision with the Final Drive Ratios of the 2.4L Twincam and 2.2L Ecotec and I believe this is TRUE...
