I'm having a hell of a time finding the build book for the 4T40E racing transmission so I can get the parts list GM used. Anybody have this? Or a list of parts and modifications to the transaxle GM used? I want to build this A/T to hold up to about 500 hp/tq, but this car isn't probably going to see that much. Good to be prepared anyway. I've got an axle shop in mind for CV and hubs/bearings, so I've got that part figured out, and a custom trans cooler figured out as well. Just need to figure out the internals.
GM never built a 4T40E, but if you look up the 4T40E rebuilt here. I posted a bunch of info.
