Engine prob...
Friday, July 15, 2005 12:07 PM
My next door neighbor has an 03 cavalier (ls sport coupe-dunno if that makes any difference not really but anyway..) His engine doesnt seem to want to start. You put the key in, it turns, but just wont start. The engine seems to shake a little bit and through the intake area it seemed like it was *coughing* afterward. Anyone know what might be the cause of this problem before he gets it towed if its simple, or is this some kind of a lemon-treatment? He doesnt beat his car up at all. uNless he did the last night to cause this but someones not telling us something. Haha. Id appreciate any kind of response.

Thanks peeps.

Might have helped if you posted in the CORRECT forum, this is the "Transmission" forum...

How would you not check to see if you are out of gas first? If my car wouldn't start, thats the first thing I would look at, the gas gauge.
