So I just finished a getrag swap on my 98 cavalier and for some reason I only have 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear. I'm not sure if the trans is even good because the donor car was not running but just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas.
Should also mention I can only get it into those gears when I shift it at the trans.
Sounds like shifter cable related truly.
Shifting into every gear at the trans is not easy to do.
