Toyo Proxes I love them and they grip the road like no other i habe used nothing but toyo on all my vehicles and they have never failed me....
Anyone running the toyo versado tire? There's a deal going on at a local place of buy 3 get the 4th free on toyos. Need to get an all season tire cause my j is my daily driver and we get alot of snow sometimes. Also is there anyone running the bfg traction t/a? Any comments on either would be helpful, tires will be 205/55/16's.
had fk452's now have bfg g-force sport, much preferred the Falkens

i would agree... ive had mine for 2 summers now and they are great tires, they handle nice and are quite... i dont drive with em in the rain(car never see's rain) and ive only put maybe 1500-2000kms on em but they still look brand new...

see i was eyeing up the FK452's before i bought my G-forces, but wasnt too satisfied with how they were supposed to perform. every test i read said they wore faster and performance was around the same as the BFG's. plus, my BFG's were cheaper lol

235 40 18
Bridgestone Turanza EL42 RFT 225/45R17
(Standard Touring All-Season)
stock for a bmw. stiff but they hold
Runflats are really stiff. The wife bought me them. Didn't realize they where runflats.
16's 205/55
Sumitomo HTR T4
(Standard Touring All-Season
great tires they don't grip as well as performance tires but they last and they are decent in the snow.
Nexen N3000 225/45/17's... good tire esp for the price. dead quiet, nice grip.
prior to them I ran Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's for 4 years. (215/45/17) Soft sidewall, and after being out in the cold for one winter (in storage) they hardened up to permanent hockey pucks. They were never the same after that.

Slowly but surely may some day win this race...
fuzion zri - great grip, low tread life
toyo proxes - good grip decent life
kuhmo ectasa asx - auto-x for one season then shot. decent grip
federal ss595 - had two sets over the last two yrs. auto-x, drag strip. in my opinion best tire for the money. ($369 mounted and balanced)
Bridgestone potenzza RE950 on my girl's cavi, they're awesome, Michelin pilot HX MXM4's on my cav, not a fan the wet traction is not that good in my opinion for a tire that pricey.

Goodyear Eagle GT in 215/60/15. A huge step up from the 195/65's it came from. I've only had them for two weeks but they hold great in the rain, I could barely get it to push. They also hold great in the dry, so much that the limits of the stock suspension are pushed pretty easily around fast tight corners. They ride great and are very quiet. I just hope they last a while...
Nobody ever says WHAT Ecsta they have :-(
Ecsta 711....lovely :-)
I love em....RElativly cheap too...killer tire for the price in my book...Summer only.

I have had a lot of tires my fave so far are what i am currently running which are Proxe T1 R and Continental Sport Contact's between the 2 I would say the conti's
Falken Azenis RT-615's FTW!

falkan 912's. they seem pretty good but all falkan tires ive bought seem to get pressure cracks pretty quick.. other then that. perfect
Well, had a set of Goodtear Eagle LS (205/50/17) They suck. NO wet traction. Now have Pirelli Pzero's. A bit better, but bridgestones or fuzions will be next.

Did I mention I drive a 2000 Lumina now?-----wigm-tuners.org member
BF Goodrich KDW's . 225/40/18 FTW.
Sumitomo HTR 200 Tarmac tires. Work great in the wet. Work better with smaller tire sizes and lightweight cars. Not as good on bigger/heavier cars.

i was very satisfied with these when i had my 18's, cheap and great performance, imo.
i now run sumitomo HTR+'s on my 17's, i like the kumho's better though, prolly going to go back to them this spring.
Hancook Ventus II's right now...they're not the greatest.... switching to Michelin Pilot Sport 2's in the spring
