i have a 2002 4 door sun fire with a set of 17x7 42mm offset rims and 225 50-17 rubber i also have a buddy with the same set up mine rub on the front spring buckets and his doesn't, any suggestion's? thanks
yea, you need 225/45/17's, not 50's.

i bought the rims off a guy with tires mounted, i guess ill just buy 2 new tires for the front and ill have 2 spairs for the rear thanks for the input.
no you want all 4 tires to be 225/45/17
If he has abs then yes all the tire sizes should match.
215/45/17 or 225/45/17. Either will work.
