Sorry to double post but I forgot to mention to check the offset on those. Wouldn't want you to run into issues bolting them up.

I like my "stock" 14" aluminums. 13# each and all the strength of a factory wheel.

Size was not specified.

^^^ what??? are they even forged? if so ok but i dont think they are.

anything FORGED is what you want if you would like the larger sizes.

i have two NON motegi sets of forged 17's. velox pg5s's and centerline storm's.

both are very light and tasteful looking.

wow. not bad. not bad at all.

aren't they also 8 inches wide? both of mine are 17X7.

i weighed both sets of mine with tires on my scale at home. both weighed in at exactly 41lbs each. stock rims/tires were like 47iirc.

According to Rota, my 17" Boosts were 17lbs. Then again, you can't just go out and those for our cars.

no 18's, but if you're willing to drop to a 17, falken hanabi's and kosei k1's weigh in at 16 lbs. kosei's are gravity cast, then shot peened, but hard to find since Tirerack stopped carrying them. hanabi's are low-pressure cast (LPC), and I'm not sure about availability.

A more accurate observation has never been typed. These should be the starting points before any serious performance modification. What's the point of making a serious performer if you can't control it's power?

If you can find a set in a 5x100 bolt pattern try looking for Nippon F2Racing rims in a 16in size. I got mine from discount tire a little over 2 years ago and the rims were listed at 13.5lbs iirc and for the price you can't beat them.

Konig Feathers, roughly 15lbs.

For the strongest lightest, look for Volk Racing TE/RE 37. Their 19's are only 16.5 lbs. so u can imagine how much lighter the 17's are.

They are REALLY expensive though. $800-900 a wheel?

Also, try out Kosei. They make some good stuff. Generally the lighter u go, the more expensive it is 'cuz of structual rigidity issues.
