Air Pressure Question
Saturday, April 24, 2010 8:43 AM

So I picked up a set of 17" rims with p215 45 R17 tires.

I was wondering, should I be putting in 32 lbs of air like the car suggests for the stock z24 16" rims with P205 55 R16??

yup same pressure, its the same type of tire: a medium profile tire. pounds per square inch, but people mistake psi for volume.

the MAX pressure is listed on the tire, if your towing or under heavy load running the max pressure is safe. If not then you will have an awkward wear. Run what the vehicle maker specifies on the door placard (has VIN and paincode as well) its the same for all fitiment of the vehicle.

the placard on the jam will say 30 but you might wanna ride higher like 35 because of the larger diameter
