what do you think it is worth??

well, I am thinking about calling it quits with the cav and wondering what I should try to get for the rims and tires.

they are the 17x7 motegi traklite 1's in flat black(5 spoke) with new(something like 2000km of driving at most) michelin pilot sport as+ tires in a 225/45r17(rims have the same driving).

the tires new were about 1000 canadian, and the rims after the shipping were about 1400.

what do you realisticly think I would be able to get?

thanks

steve

Over here in cheap-arse Metro Vancouver.. you'd be lucky to get $700 for a set of used wheels. Check Craigslist local to you and see what comparable wheel sets are selling for... that's probably the only real way to know.

usually I would say about 150 a wheel and tire for a cheap 17 with decent tires. but when they cost $2400 and they have 2000 km on them, I would think more, that and for a 12 lb or something close forged wheel(easy to lift all 4 boxes at once this way).

maybe I am just stuck, oh well.

I will sell them some time I guess

Wheels are just like an american car, as soon as they're used the value plummets. Too bad they're not like japanese cars where after 5 years of use you can sell it for 5 grand less then you paid for it.
