So Im riding on 14" steelies with hubcaps that are squeeking and pissing me off.
Leaving base today, I saw these at a tire shop for $350 as is, one tire is bad (225/40/18's). Ill get new tires.
Im planning on getting some nice (never seen before on a Cav) gun metal or black torque thrusts in 18", but for now...these could be a temporary wheel. Cant stand my damn hubcaps.
Good, bad, ugly, at least okay for now? Keep in mind I've got some Tein springs and shocks to install in the garage to lower my Cav about 1.5"

if you get some new tires. get some 215/40/18s and depending on the offset get some spacers too lol. i bet they're like a 48mm

why 215's versus 225's? wouldnt wider have better grip and handling abilities? i know they'd need to be aligned, and will be slightly off on the speedometer too...
I like the blue/gold look, but Im planning on going with a blue/black theme, so if anything, the 5 spokes and center would be a flat/gloss black, with the rest polished.
It would be those wheels, with an LS Sport lip kit, and then just exhaust (very low key, nothing loud, probably dual tips dumped under the bumper).

thanks for the feed back so far, azn i love that one pic yuo have of your 235 tires slammed, but for a dd i wont go that low lol

Ill stop by tomorrow if he still has em...
Ill offer $300 as is, and have a friend hook me up with some new tires.
If he wont take $300, wasnt meant to be. if i get em, ill leave em as is for now, just to get my car lowered and put some 18's on to see how i like it.
maybe ill end up wanting smaller, who knows?!

black wheels? might as well stick to black steelies IMO.

yeah for now it would be just a temporary "no more hubcaps" thing, so I would probably not even paint them.
Id toss on the lowering springs/shocks, those wheels, and call it a day until i save up and get what i really want.
I cant stress how much these steelies/hubcaps are annoying me lol, plus they look like @!#$!

Well Im'a go pick em up after work in about 30min, $325 and he's gonna throw in a full set of lugs...hopefully they're the right size (tuner if needed..dont know yet).
Ill toss em on as is once i get some new rubber in a week or so, but i actually may look into the spokes being a bronce/gold...not bad actually..
so, azncav, why would you recommend 215's versus 225s? and I started looking at thickness, the 45 almost seems better to fill the well more than 40's..i dont like that 'extreme low profile' look when they are too skinny.

225/40/18 would be the proper size on an 18" wheel...

215's would only make sense if you plan on going stupid low and running spacers...
