Just don't install coilovers on your stock struts.

your goin to have to buy new struts to if you wanna go real low

read this: http://www.j-body.org/forums/read.php?f=3&i=50260&t=50260

that should tell you the basics of what your goin to have to do when lowering your car

probably not, but your stock shocks/struts won't last long. shocks/struts keep your car from just bouncing up and down on the springs all day long - if you push down on the car's bumper to compress the springs, the bumper shouldn't go up and down more than once or maybe twice - which helps maintain control of the car. maintaining control is a good thing...

besides, "coilovers" that are only springs aren't real coilovers- they're adjustible-hight springs. if you consider any suspension arrangement where the spring coils around the shock a "coilover", then our cars come stock with "coilovers". real coilover suspension has the shock and spring assembled together as one unit.

lol sorry but thats alot of false info. have you ever looked at coilover spring compared to a lowering spring? coilovers also have a sleeve which is used to adjusted the height. sorry but your stock suspension doesnt have that.
