Z24 wheels on a 2005 Sunfire
Monday, January 11, 2016 3:34 AM

Just bought a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire and was thinking of swapping my old Z24 wheels to replace the stock steel wheels. These were from a 96 (I believe) Z24 swapped onto my 2nd gen '91 Z. Has anyone here done this? Are these a direct swap? Interested in how they would look on a Sunfire. Thanks!

Here are the wheels I'd like to swap. 16" Z24 wheels off of a '96 (I believe) with P205/55R16s. The set of tires on the Sunfire (P195/65R51s) are passable for another season, but will order tires for the aluminum wheels if there are no compatibility issues. Please let me know, figured you all would know better than I would. Bolt pattern looks the same. Any speedo issues?

If anyone local (I'm in Southeastern CT) wants to pick a few parts of my 91 Z24 Cav for cheap before I junk it, let me know via PM. I have an Addco 1" solid rear sway bar if anyone wants it. Refer to my 91 Z24 registry page for a parts breakdown. I would also be willing to sell it as a whole, if needed. The car has been sitting for 18 months. Motor has about 130k on it. The car has served me well as a daily driver for 8+ years, but it is time to say goodbye. New England is just too incredibly hard on J bodies.

Yes, those wheels will fit the Sunfire just fine.
