Jeffie still sees no couches chairs or even mattress in the new place so this is far from priority right now homie.

From the dead? I posted yesterday.

I don't find them to be the most comfortable, but that could be because I sit in them in a WS6, which is hardly a comfortable vehicle to be a passenger in. The air does help a bit.
Actually you dont need any custom work really unless you wanna run the extras.
They are a direct bolt in to a J.
He's correct to the best of km knowledge....my buddy has the seats from my cavalier in his camaro.
Rememeber kids... spell check is your friend
So If anyone were to do this swap would the seat belt light stay on in the dash or does the camaro seats seat belt wire plug right into the j-body wire?
You would use the J-Body belt still. Since the belt and seat arent a unit.

Also the sensor wire for the seat belt is connected to the Jbody bracket. That way you won't see the light on your dash unless you don't have it on.
mines not even hooked up and no seat-belt light

Are you looking for pics of the seats installed in an F-Body or J-Body? I can take pics of mine in my (and stargrrrl's) WS6. As far as the air goes, there is an air pump located under the passenger side seat. The hoses run from that pump to both seats. I'm assuming that you would just need to yank the pump and all the wiring and switches, wire in a power source, mount the pump and switches and your good to go.
were looking for the seats installed in a j.
I had been tossing this idea around in my head for a while, its good to know the front seats are direct bolt in haha.
I had originally wanted to do the back seats because in theory, it would angle passengers a little differently, giving the effect they have more room.

Dammit Jeffie quit passing your responsibilities on everyone else!
I know these aren't F-body seats like you guys are talkng about but just felt the need to share. C5 Corvette seats sitting on the J-body sliders. You have to drill extra holes in the seat bracket to make them fit and use a driver's side slider for the passanger as well.
I'm getting them re-upholstered soon so I'll take pics when they come out for you all to see what I'm talking about.
I do have the stock C5 sliders and motor w/ lumbar support which I'll try to get hooked up during next winter season.
Among the winners, there is no room for the weak
Hmmm definetly going to be watching this post
i have pics of em there at the top of the interior thread lol
I thought the fbody was a direct bolt on, but illdeca says no?
Also anyone have a site which shows the different fbody styles so I know which ones to look for? I think I read that 3rd and 4th gen are perfect bolt up.
its almost riect bolt in dude u can bolt on some of the bracket n use shims big washers an fits flush
i thought i should share these with you guys. these are black leather transam seats. they are using the stock j sliders i didnt need to drill any holes into the seats for the sliders to fit. the transam sliders were a bit off from the mounting screws but not by much. they fit really good and they are a little more comfortable than my sunfire seats.
Nice!
I'm going to have to get some!
I REALLY want a set of those...
