What parts would be needed to strip from a junker to add cruise to an 04?

I got the parts through JLenko and eBay. I don't remember anymore what years were compatible. I'm sure 03 - 05 are the same though.

Nice write up, I've been wondering if cruise control was available to install. How much did you purchase parts for?

People actually add cruise control? Lol I pulled mine out a while ago. I also do 30+ miles a day on the freeway.

Yes people actually enjoy it and want it. You must be one of those ass holes that cannot pick a speed and stay at it on the freeway.

I removed mine because it was malfunctioning and would randomly turn on and stick me at full throttle. FOR SALE...

not sure...
I would all of a sudden start accelerating when I didn't want to, push in the clutch and rev uncontrollably. It would stop after I kicked the throttle cable a few times or just wait it out.

I actually am not one of those @!#$s.

Come to Phoenix and try driving 30 miles onthe freeway using cruise control.

There are too many jack asses that like to jump around and switch lanes every half second so you cant stay at one constant speed.

Plus we have(for 2 more days) speed cameras on the freeway and people seem to think you MUST slam on their brakes and do 10 under the speed limit when going past them.

I bought a kit from the cruise control store. Fetter is almost done with it too. I want to say it was like $180ish? comes with the turn signal lever that is the factory cruise one even.

sounds like a good idea..I miss CC, but DSMskyline is right in the sense of other drivers. I am already constantly going from the speed limit to 10 under every 30 seconds..only at night or open roads in San Antonio can you effectively use it. But for say...trips to the Bash you might need it haha

04 Cav. 2dr. 5spd. My DD. 'Nuff said.
