Carbon Fiber Guys --- Need some help!
Wednesday, May 16, 2012 7:30 AM
I need 2 pieces to finish my interior:

Dash Pad and 95-99 Radio Bezel.

I would like to do both of these pieces in Carbon Fiber if we have an expert here on the boards. The Radio Bezel I would need a few things done just hit me up VIA PM and we can discuss.

I'm easier to reach via text 504-315-9525.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Mark and I had a few recent issues. I will see if any other members want the work since mark was too busy to finish some past projects for me.

If he has some free time since our last dealing then I may utilize him for these.

Thx for the suggestion zyaa.

no offense to him or anybody who likes his work but some of the parts i got had messed up weave and a ton of pin holes as well as looked like he barely used any gel coat because it had a dull, lifeless finish.

Interesting. Good info. I never bought anything from him, but I remember he was producing a ton of different parts for all different vehicles. Pics looked good, but it's easy to hide stuff in pics.

granted, the weave on the particular one im referring to was only messed up on a curvy portion of the part. so its not exactly easy to get perfect, im sure. i am a very picky person when it comes to parts though... what i think isnt suitable might be just fine for someone else.

Matt, the clear epoxy is all rough, and not sure if it was even ever cleared....

Sounds like it needs some more exopy and sanding followed by the clear or a good buff. If the exopy on there is thick enough, you could just sand and clear. If no, then you'll need to add some more expoxy first.
